Pregnancy, labour and birth is an amazing journey. It’s full of emotions, learning, surrendering, courage and more. I know I wouldn’t have been able to go on my journey without Kelly.

I was already quite far along when I contacted Kelly and she was still able to accommodate me.

I came to her with so much mental baggage from my first birth, as well as major mental shifts that needed to take place in me in order to have the birth I really wanted. Kelly provided the information and support I needed to make these shifts and take my power back. She was a tremendous support when I needed to rise up with courage and make decisions for my family and birth against a lot of pushback. This ultimately led to me being able to birth as I wanted. Kelly also provided such amazing comfort and strength during the long days toward the end of a 42 weeks pregnancy, and I will never forget that. She went above and beyond and truly helped me to have the birth I so longed for. A few words will never quite express the impact Kelly made on us or how she helped my family during this time and we are so truly grateful for her and know she was sent by God. Thank you, Kelly, I will never forget you or how you helped me during this time.

BREASTFEEDING - LEAH

OMG, I can’t recommend Kelly enough. I never really considered a doula until I hit 32 weeks & I thought I would benefit from a little additional support.

Hiring Kelly just 6 weeks before Bubba came was an intense few weeks as she did all that she could to really helped prepare me mentally for the VBAC I desired.

I had some moments in the lead up where doubt would creep in & she would work tirelessly to get me back on track. I didn’t get the birth I wanted, but I tell you the experience had helped me to heal & even accept my first birth to a degree and this is 99.9% because of the support that Kelly gave me & my husband (who also engaged in this birth so much more than he ever did with my first). Taking this to the next level, Kelly has supported my breastfeeding journey well & truely beyond what I ever expected. Similarly without her support I wouldn’t have the answers & breastfeeding plan that I needed. Seriously I just can’t recommend her enough for the gift she gave me in supporting me through birth & breastfeeding.I wish every pregnant and birthing woman could have Kelly as their doula. She lives and breathes maternity care and is up to date on all of the latest research relating to birth. She was able to talk me through all of my questions and provide me with further reading so that I felt comfortable with my birth preferences and prepared for a conversation with my care providers. I ended up birthing during the coronavirus restrictions, so Kelly couldn't be with me at the hospital, but she came to my house during my three days of prodromal labour and supported me through an exhausting few days. Thank you, Kelly! I am sure that my feelings regarding my birth and the lead up to my birth would be very different if I didn't have you there to help me through that time
